I thought this movie would be a light hearted ribbing of everyone's favorite cable news network; but by the end of the film, I was nearly in tears, my only hope remaing reduced to images of extreme violence...

Mission statement:

The intention of this site has always been to create an environment in which Crying Indian and Weeping Jesus could could abutt the same, beautiful banner. At that, this site is a success.

dovate.com version 3.1 or so includes the things that I write while sitting at work. Pending new employment, writing may be a more “at home” sort of endeavor.

dovate.com includes photography by me, Steve Weinik. I am an amateur photographer and I like taking pretty, pretty pictures of the places that I go.

This site is supposed to have a sense of humor. Even indignation should have a light-heartedness to it.

Submission Guidelines:

Send me something, anything, maybe you'll be “published.” I have no standards, but reserve the right to accept, not accept or even unaccept any or all submissions. Unless things change in a real dramatic way, there's no way in hell, you'll be paid for anything "published" here.

You will get full-credit for your work, but I reserve the right to edit at my discretion.

*note, this is not a personal license for me to maliciously mangle your work. On the other hand if the edits really piss you off, let me know how and why and we can work something out. Thanks.
